Even though all 4 of my grandparents are from Germany (born, raised) and I took a year of German, my deutsch is sehr schlect (sp?). So feel free to move this post to a more approriate forum.
That said, I would like to see more usablility for changing the appearance and insertion of topics or categories. I run a PHP/MySQL mesage board and it uses a numbering system to index the names of groups. I think something similar would be nice for adding groups. For example, in the Admin section, to edit "categories" I would see:
1 - General Questions
3 - Coding (subtopic, added 3rd)
2 - My Favorite Places in Germany
4 - VI or Emacs
Then if you added a group, you could tell it where to add it. For example, to add a new subcategory to "General Questions" I could tell it to be a "child" of #1, a subcategory of Coding, would be a "Child" of 3, etc.
This way I can control where it inserts new categories. Adding it at the bottom might be OK with less than 5 categories, but it can become cumbersome.
Also, I don't know if this is really a bug, but with the current code, if I add a #5 and use the "UP ARROW" button to move it to the top...."General Questions" becomes a SUB topic, instead of remaining a main topic. This is not very desireable.
Just some ideas and comments. Otherwise, this FAQ is great! I found it via Hotscripts.com and tried several others before choosing phpMyFAQ. The others wouldn't cleanly install or weren't very useful.

Hi John,
this is a good idea. I'll try to implement it in phpMyFAQ 2.0.
